He may be new to the shadow cabinet, but the inexorable rise of Chuka Umunna continues this month, as he’s named your LabourList MP of the month for November.
In November Umunna gave his keynote Bloomberg speech which was well received, he also argued that EU law doesn’t prohibit favouring UK firms when awarding contracts. He’s also been a strong, confident and regular media performer since his elevation to the shadow team, which no doubt has been part of your thinking.
Other MPs who ran Umunna close this month include Ed Balls, pereniall favourite and two time winner Tom Watson and John McDonnell. Thanks to everyone who voted.
