Lynton Crosby’s business partner says Australian broadcaster giving Tom Watson “a giant blow job”

27th August, 2013 9:16 am

As Michael Gove plans to read out the latest missive from the Lynton Crosby playbook today, over in Australia his business partner Mark Textor is showing another side of their campaigning style – by accusing Australian broadcaster ABC of giving Tom Watson “a giant blow job” for having the temerity to interview him. A few hours ago, Textor tweeted:

textor blow job

He’s also attacked Tony Blair as a “wanker” in the last few hours too, but it’s been Watson who has borne the brunt of his anger.

Presumably he didn’t enjoy Watson’s LabourList post about him…?

I’m surprised that Textor knows how to spell ABC to be honest. Eeek.

Tonight, the party released its latest party election broadcast, and the most Miliband-focussed for some time. It’s called “Ed Miliband: A Portrait”, […]

Why won’t Michael Fallon rule out stabbing Britain in the back over Trident?

Three weeks ago Michael Fallon went negative with an ugly and unpleasant attack on Ed Miliband, accusing him¬†planning to stab Britain in the back over Trident renewal. Since then we’ve also had Boris Johnson repeating Fallon’s backstab myth (or should that be Lynton Crosby’s – we know who write’s the script). So imagine our surprise when we saw Michael Fallon – yes, the same Michael Fallon – repeatedly and cravenly refusing to rule out voting against Trident renewal under a […]

Sturgeon gives backing to abusive Twitter troll candidate

Nicola Sturgeon has given her backing to the SNP candidate who until earlier this month was using an anonymous Twitter account to hurl abuse at pro-UK campaigners. The SNP leader came under pressure last week to suspend Neil Hay, the candidate for Edinburgh South, after it became clear he taken on an online pseudonym to mock pensioners and compare No vote supporters to Nazi collaborators. After a newspaper brought the account to the attention of the SNP, Hay deleted it […]
