International pressure over the case of Aung San Suu Kyi appears now to be having an effect. The generals have reduced the court’s sentence from 3 years hard labour to 18 months house arrest in order to simply keep her out of the way, as they undertake reforms including the promise of an election.
My film focuses on the personal stories of the campaigners at Burma Campaign UK.
