Two weeks ago we asked you to send us your “Ideas for electability”, and we’ve had a fantastic response so far. Thanks to everyone who has sent in their suggestions, and keep them coming. There are plenty more ideas to come, and we’ll be asking you to vote for your favourite idea too. So far this week we’ve had:
– Luke Pollard says we need to ensure that there’s “Affordable water for all“.
– Josh Blacker thinks “High speed internet” is as crucial for our development as electricity once was.
– John Ruddy wants to see an alternative model for our rail network – “A Mutual British Railways”.
– Richard Speight thinks we need an alternative to the Big Society, he calls it “Full citizenship”.
– Kathryn Rose thinks that we need to focus on a daily problem for the poor, and “Cap how much profit can be made on essentials“
– James Valentine wants to see us push ahead with plans for “A National Care Service”
If you think you have an idea for something that would make Labour more electable, more popular, and more likely to form the next government – write an article on the subject and send it to us.
Let’s show that the Labour movement is full of fresh, exciting ideas.
