Miliband commits to Refounding Labour transparency

Earlier this week, I expressed some of my concerns with the Refounding Labour process. Specifically, I said:

“There are a questions Peter Hain needs to answer if he’s to prove that Refounding Labour is a genuine consultation:

Will we get to see the submissions? If so, when?
How can we be sure that the final report is representative of the submissions received?”

In light of that, it was heartening that Ed Miliband (during his latest #AskEdM Twitter chat yesterday) backed plans to release submissions. This is a welcome sign that the leadership is comfortable with transparency in this process, and should be welcomed. In response to a question from Sarah Evans, Miliband said:
