Labour parliamentarians and staffers from both Commons and Lords came together this morning to show their solidarity with the people of France in the wake of yesterday’s terror attack in Paris.
Many held pens aloft – a symbol of support for the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists who were murdered – while others held signs that read: “Je suis Charlie”. Click on the image to enlarge.
France held a minute’s silence to honour the victims this morning, with many more around the world choosing to join in simultaneously. This follows a vigil in London’s Trafalgar Square last night.
