Next month, Co-op members will vote on whether to keep the link between the Co-operative Party and Co-operative Group. The Co-op Party are in favour of maintaining the link, and are running a ‘Keep It Co-op’ campaign.
Today, they’ve launched an election broadcast style video as part of the campaign. Featuring a teacher at a co-operative school in Plymouth, the video reflects on 150 years of co-op successes – sharing similarities with the ‘Fighters and Believers’ Labour election broadcast that proved so popular with activists at the last election.
The vote will take place on May 16th, and the video can be watched below:
