Ed Miliband today made a speech at the Citizen UK conference, which David Cameron controversially pulled out of yesterday.
In a short but well-received speech (at the place where Gordon Brown made his most famous speeches as PM on the Monday before the last election), the Labour leader said:
“Friends, that’s why your fighting my fight. Your struggle is my struggle. Your vision is my vision. Let’s put working people first. Let’s change the country together.”
