New Labour MP Tracy Brabin took her place in parliament today after being greeted by figures from across the PLP.
Jeremy Corbyn was among those to welcome Brabin, a former actress who was elected to Batley and Spen on Thursday, in a by-election triggered by the death of Jo Cox.
Brabin, Labour’s newest MP, was applauded by some of her Welsh parliamentary colleagues, with Kevin Brennan, shadow minister for the arts, saying on Twitter:
