Barking Labour Party are looking for help for this Saturday’s Day of Action against the BNP.
Barking CLP will be targetting voters in Alibon Ward, a seat where the BNP have two councillors and are often to be found in the local shopping centre. However, one of the hardest working local Labour teams in Barking are contesting the ward at the next election and would warmly welcome your help.
With just over ten weeks to go until the local elections, this is a great time to join Barking Labour Party in the fight on the front line against the BNP. Plus, the weather is looking up – and we’ll still have soup and sandwiches on hand at lunchtime.
We will be meeting at St George’s Church, Rogers Road, Dagenham at 10am this Saturday, with lifts from Dagenham Heathway train station at 10am and 1pm.
I do hope you can join us. For more information or directions, please do give Jennifer or Darren a ring on 07576 323 109 or e-mail barkinglabourcampaigns@hotmail.co.uk.
