Nadine Dorries under investigation by IPSA over expenses claims

Former (and possibly future) Tory MP Nadine Dorries is under investigation by IPSA over her expenses claims, it has been revealed:

A statement on the IPSA website said the investigation “will be conducted into claims submitted under the following areas of the Third and Fourth Editions of the MPs’ Scheme of Business Costs and Expenses: Accommodation Expenditure; Travel and Subsistence.”

We’re sure that her announcing this morning that she was taking some time away from Twitter has nothing to do with this news…
