Two third of LabourList readers back new plans for a more autonomous Scottish Labour Party. Almost two-thirds of those who voted in this week’s survey said they were in favour of Kezia Dugdale’s plan, which she set out on LabourList last weekend.
63% of those surveyed said they supported the reforms, while 24% oppose the moves.
Readers are unconvinced by Tories claims the House of Lords caused a “constitutional crisis” when it voted against cuts to tax credits this week. 89% of readers dismissed the idea that a constitutional crisis has been triggered, while just 7% disagree.
Meanwhile, the Government is coming under pressure to introduce a tax on sugary products, being dubbed the ‘Sugar Tax’. LabourList readers are well in favour of the idea, with 61% of those who voted supporting the tax; 30% oppose it.
