Douglas Alexander, Labour’s general election co-ordinator, is joining Twitter today at @DouglasGE2010.
As Labour’s general election co-ordinator, Douglas wants to use the social media tool as exactly that: a way of communicating and engaging in dialogue about activists’ experience on the doorstep campaigning for Labour.
It’s good news that the person who is planning and managing Labour’s election campaign wants to hear from the activists out there speaking to people. It’s exactly what ministers should be doing as one of the ways of finding out what’s happening on the ground.
So, Douglas wants to hear from you. Tweet Douglas at @DouglasGE2010 and hash it to #LabourDoorstep.
