Jim Devine guilty of false accounting

Former Labour MP Jim Devine has been found guilty of two counts of false accounting relating to expenses claims.

Devine was was found not guilty in relation to two cleaning invoices totalling £360. However he was found guilty of making false cleaning and stationery claims of over £8,000.

Devine will be sentenced in four weeks.
