In an interview with the BBC, Tory PPC for Corby Christine Emmett admitted:
“We’ve got no growth”
In fact Christine is being a little optimistic there, we are after all in a recession. Then again, at least Emmett’s statement on the economy was at least accurate, unlike her calamitous description of the constituency she’s fighting – muddling it up with a place over 100 miles away.
There still seems to have been no mention though her crucial role in the privatisation of the railways. It’s almost like she’s shy about it.
How odd…
