Now that content is moving much faster on LabourList, it’s easy to miss some of the articles and links we carry.

So every day, LabourList sends an email to readers keeping them up-to-date with news from the site, the Labour party, the wider movement and the political arena and blogosphere in general.

The email arrives in your inbox in time for lunch every weekday and includes that morning’s breaking news – sign up to receive it here!

The LunchtimeList also features our Comment of the Day feature, which was won today by Bill Dewison for this comment:

“Charlie, the guy used his British workforce to make a saleable product, established a profitable marketplace, then dumped the very workforce that got his products onto the shelves and replaced them with cheap labour to line his own pockets.

The man may well be seen by some as a shrewd businessman, but all I see is a user and a poor excuse for a human being. How he has to the nerve to front the adverts on the television is one thing, but presenting himself as some sort of an expert under a Conservative banner?

You know I don’t needlessly namecall with the Conservatives, but in this case they have it very, very wrong and it does say quite a bit about Cameron if he backs Dyson. As the article says, if Dyson seriously wants to back the UK, then he’ll switch his manufacturing base back to here. It was profitable, but he was greedy and wanted more, a bit like many of those in big business. They don’t want a good profit, they want an obscene profit level.”
