Last month, LabourList published a crosspost by Armando Iannucci about British politicians at the White House. The post was a little controversial, after Iannucci himself Tweeted, with supremely profane eloquence, that he would, er, hunt down the person who allowed his work to appear on this so-called “government weep rag.”
LabourList is now proud to announce our own space at HuffPo:
www.huffingtonpost.com/labourlist
Our contributors will be writing original work relevant to the trans-Atlantic relationship and the differences in our political systems, and reporting for the HuffPo on “affairs from London” under the LabourList banner
The first LabourList article to appear on the HuffPo is Out of Date, Out of Touch: British Politics in Turmoil, by Anthony Painter. The piece looks at the constitutional and leadership crises Britain has faced in recent weeks and places them in the context of our different constitutional systems.
Next up, journalist Rowenna Davis will look at the relative merits of socialised healthcare.
