UPDATE: Tonight’s new ComRes poll for ITV News/The Independent shows the Tories on 35% (+3), Labour on 26% (-2) and the Lib Dems on 26% (-2). That would deliver a hung parliament, according to the UK Polling Report, with the Tories 35 seats short of a working majority on 291 seats, Labour on 245 seats and the Lib Dems on 83.
There are three new polls out tonight, with another to follow at 10pm.
A Populus poll for the Times shows:
Conservatives 32% (-4), Lib Dems 31% (+10), Labour 28% (-5).
Those results would deliver a hung parliament, with Labour on 271 seats, 53 seats short of a working majority, the Tories on 236 seats and the Lib Dems on 110 seats.
The YouGov tracker shows:
Lib Dems 34% (+3), Conservative 31% (-2), Labour 26% (-1).
That would also deliver a hung parliament, with Labour 80 seats short of a majority on 246 seats, the Tories on 228 and the Lib Dems on 143.
Angus Reid for Political Betting shows:
Lib Dem 33% (+1), Conservative 31% (nc), Labour 23% (-1).
Those results would also deliver a hung parliament, but the Tories would have most seats on 249. Labour would have 214 seats and the Lib Dems would have 154.
