The Tory Party on working conditions

From the horse’s mouth in Parliament today:

Cameron: “What did we get for joining the social chapter?”

Tory benches: “NOTHING”

The aims of the social chapter are:

“promotion of employment, improving living and working conditions, proper social protection, dialogue between management and labour, the development of human resources with a view to lasting high employment and the combating of exclusion”

That’s “nothing”. That’s the unanimous verdict of the modern Conservative Party.
