A few weeks ago we noted that the oleaginous newly minted Tory Minister (and former Osborne adviser) Matt Hancock had thrown a wobbler when his official limo didn’t turn up.
It’s a shame Hancock’s priorities haven’t improved since then. Now he’s onto the real big issues – like his official ministerial photo. The Daily Mail reports:
“Newly-promoted Government Minister Matt Hancock has rejected his official departmental photograph amid claims he thinks it is not statesmanlike enough.
Mr Hancock, a joint Business and Education Minister, objected to the portrait and asked his office to use a better one from the website of his West Suffolk constituency office.
Friends of the rising Tory star say he did not like the ‘grey background’ of the picture, complaining it looked ‘very civil servant-ish and dreary’.”
