A conference on “The Politics of One Nation Labour” has been organised, bringing together many of those working around the party’s policy review.
Taking place at Queen Mary, University of London on April 18th, speakers already confirmed for the event include Jon Cruddas MP, Stewart Wood (Labour peer and Ed Miliband staffer), Kate Green MP, Maurice Glasman (Labour peer), Philip Blond (ResPublica), Liz Kendall MP and Duncan O’Leary (Demos).
The aim of this conference – according to the organisers, is to “debate the ideas and explore the policy content and emerging political orientation behind the concept of One Nation Labour. Among the themes to be addressed are: the implications for Englishness and the Union, the project’s relationship to Conservatism and to the Labour Party’s past, and the practical implications of a One Nation approach for Labour politics.”
We’re media partners for the event – and we’ll be reporting live from the conference for those of you who can’t be there.
