I thought it would be good to take people’s temperature on what Labour have done and where they should go now for women’s rights. So I’ve come up with 5 questions for readers to answer.
1. Is Labour doing enough to support women?
2. Should Labour stick with women-only shortlists?
3. Should Labour legislate for 50:50 male:female representation?
4. Have Blair’s Babes have done more to detract from women’s equality or enhance it?
5. Should Labour be using the F-word?*
* (That’s feminism, guys – not an Alastair Campbell profanity!)
