The Times is reporting that Kitty Ussher resigned over her expense allowance claims, but the Guardian is saying the Prime Minister sacked her after she flipped her second homes to avoid paying capital gains tax.
It wouldn’t normally matter, but in the context of the MPs’ expenses scandal and Gordon Brown’s authority, it is important.
