The Iraq inquiry: early reaction

What’s Left? will return soon, but the big issue of the day is the announcement of the inquiry into the Iraq War. Here are a few of the views going round and it’s pretty unanimous.

Sunder Katwala says there is clear demand for a more open process.

Richard Norton-Taylor says it’s a scandalous whitewash.

Rose Gentle, whose son was killed in Iraq, says she will fight on to ensure the process is held in public.
