Labour will hold an event in Coventry on Saturday at which the Prime Minister will unveil the key themes of its election campaign. Gordon Brown will speak at the event, and will be accompanied by Alistair Darling, Peter Mandelson, Alan Johnson and Yvette Cooper.

The key election themes will be:

* Ensuring the economic recovery

* Protecting frontline public services

* Standing up for the many

LabourList will report from the event on Saturday.

At the core of delivering these themes, which will feature in the election manifesto to be launched in few few weeks’ time, will be Labour’s commitment to co-oeprative values.
