The ballot papers for the Labour leadership election will drop on doormats across the country on September 1st.
Before then, LabourList is again reopening our leadership survey, so that readers can express their preferences for who they think should be party leader at this stage of the four-month process, and so we can see how those preferences have changed throughout the contest.
You can express your first, second, third, fourth and fifth preference votes, and as last time we’ll be analysing all of the data in full next week, to bring you a snapshot of how the race is panning out.
Our polls earlier in the summer were amongst the first to inform this leadership election, and received a lot of coverage. Left Foot Forward have since used our information to guide their own leadership model, which they’re updating perdiocally. We don’t claim that our polls are totally scientific; rather, they are a useful indicator at different points throughout the contest as to the state of readers’ thinking on the candidates and their offers, and a guide to what is an otherwise arcane process.
This survey has now closed.
