Another remarkable Lib Dem leaflet

Labour activists are used to Lib Dem leaflets, with all of the dubious campaigning methods and questionable bar charts that come along with them. But it’s rare to see a Lib Dem leaflet as brazen as this one.

Yesterday we told you that Nick Clegg’s reputation is in such tatters that there’s even an event on the Lib Dem website advertising “Nick Clegg’s Lie-a-thon“. Today Lib Dem’s in Islington’s Caledonian ward have gone one step further – putting a leaflet out saying “Clegg delivers on promises”.

Islington Lib Dems went into meltdown at the 2010 local elections, losing half of their councillors as both Labour MPs in the borough significantly increased their majorities. This is a somewhat bold attempt to reverse their decline…
