The Morning Report is taking a break for the summer. We’ll be back in September (in a new format) with all of the day’s news dished up with a heavy dose of cynicism – but before we head off into the summer sun, here’s the pick of today’s papers:
– Lord Glasman apologies for his remarks on immigration.
– Peter Oborne says “The euro crisis will give Germany the empire it’s always dreamed of” (if you can look past the jingoistic headline, this is an engaging analysis of the eurozone crisis).
– In the Gudrain, Lance Price asks if the government looked the other way over Andy Coulson.
– Meanwhile in The Times(£), another Blair-era adviser Philip Collins urges the PM not to resign.
Have a great summer – and keep reading LabourList, which will continue to bring you the same great content each and every day.
