Just 2 days ago Osborne said “UK is a safe haven” – now we’re in recession

George Osborne told ITV just two days ago:

“We have taken action to ensure the UK is a safe haven in the storm”

That “action” has seen the return of recession, a shrinking economy and “negative growth” in 4 of the last 7 quarters.
