Party conferences in 2016 and 2018 will both be held in Liverpool

Labour Party conference will be returning to Liverpool in 2016 and 2018, it has been announced today. That means the venues for the next few years will be:

2013 – Brighton

2014 – Manchester

2015 – Brighton

2016 – Liverpool

2017 – TBC

2018 – Liverpool

Announcing the venues, General Secretary Iain McNicol said:

“We are delighted to be able to confirm that we will be holding the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool in 2016 and 2018. 

“Liverpool is one of our great British cities and we had a wonderful conference there in 2011. ACC Liverpool is a first class venue for conference and we look forward to returning to the city.”
