Confirmed: Miliband will speak today without notes

Rumours have been circulating around Brighton in recent days that Ed Miliband will repeat his trick from last year and give his conference speech without notes. This morning a senior source in Miliband’s office confirmed that’s the case. The speech is believed to be over an hour long – but Miliband has learned the lot.
