In the eurozone, energy prices are FALLING – and that’s bringing inflation down too

A report published today shows that energy prices in the Eurozone have fallen by 1.7% in the last twelve months. Meanwhile, the most recent ONS data shows that UK energy prices have risen by 7.7% over the last 12 months. Lets look at how those compare:

Falling energy prices have pushed Eurozone inflation down to just 0.7% – a good 2 points lower than UK inflation.

And yet Cameron still does nothing.
