12 weeks is a long time in politics (for pollsters ICM)

Here’s what Martin Boon, the Director of ICM, told the Telegraph about Ed Miliband and Labour back in August:

“It’s difficult to imagine that things could be any worse for him, or indeed how he can succeed in turning the public around.”

“He is becoming Labour’s IDS and if it carries on like this it’s hard not to think that we’ll be seeing Conservative polling leads very soon.” (our emphasis)

And here’s today’s ICM poll in the Guardian:

There’s no word from ICM on when we should be expecting those Tory poll leads…
