The days after New Year are rarely a fun time. The weather is grim, many of you will have returned to work, the Christmas tree is about to be taken away and there are no bank holidays on the horizon. You’re probably not looking forward to this week.
LabourList hasn’t always had an easy life. There have been times over the past five years when it seemed that this site would be forced to close and an anniversary like this one would never be reached. But thanks to the support of people like you, we’re looking forward to 2014 being our biggest year yet.
We understand that not everyone can get to London, and that not all of you will be able to make it on Thursday. So we’ll be hosting other events around the country in 2014 – and we’ll be celebrating our fifth birthday with you on Thursday on the site.
Happy New Year everyone – and I’m looking forward to seeing many of you on Thursday to celebrate
Thanks as always for reading and supporting LabourList
