It’s often said that the Tories are in the pocket of the banks, but one Tory MP appears to have taken that maxim rather too seriously. Step forward James Duddridge, Tory MP for Rochford and Southend East, who appears to be hosting a surgery exclusively for Halifax customers in a branch of the high street branch:
Why on earth would an MP host their surgery in a bank – and restrict it to customers of that bank?
