A few months ago we announced the expansion of our team. Conor Pope and Maya Goodfellow joined us as staff writers and have already made an immense difference to the site, increasing both the quality and quantity of our output over the past few months. In fact – the last six months has been by far the most successful in LabourList’s history – culminating in our massively over-subscribed Labour conference programme.
We’ve also added two Contributing Editors to the site in recent months too – one of whom (FT columnist Stefan Stern) has just been nominated for the Independent Blogger award at the Editorial Independence awards for his work for LabourList.
Stefan’s columns are always insightful, well-written and an absolute pleasure to read each Monday morning, so we’re delighted to see him nominated. He’s up against our friend James Bloodworth from Left Foot Forward and Steve Van Riel (who has in the past written for LabourList) for the award – so may the best person win.
Stefan’s nomination follows on from last year’s nomination for fellow Contributing Editor Emma Burnell in the same category. We are incredibly lucky to have such well-respected writers contributing so extensively to the site, but don’t forget – if you want to have your say, we do take submissions from Labour members and activists across the country.
Congratulations and best of luck to Stefan – and here’s to another great year for LabourList.
