Miliband and Brown to share platform for first time since 2010 at Scottish Labour rally

Ed Miliband will appear on a platform with Gordon Brown for the first time since the 2010 election next week, as the Scottish Referendum reaches its final days. After speaking in Blantyre, Lanarkshire yesterday, Miliband confirmed that the Labour campaign in Scotland would intensify over the next two weeks, with events involving Ed Balls, John Prescott and Brown.

Balls will be in Scotland on Monday to talk about the economic issues surrounding the campaign, before Labour MEPs head to Scotland on Tuesday to talk about Scotland’s role in Europe. John Prescott will be be bringing his campaigning experience to Scotland on Wednesday, before a rally on Friday featuring Brown, Miliband and Scottish labour leader Johann Lamont.
