As the Lib Dems meet in Glasgow for their annual conference, Labour reveal their slogan for the week. Short, simple and effective (easy to remember, too) – we can’t imagine there’s going to be too much trouble with Labour MPs straying off the party line this week:
Deputy Leader Harriet Harman says that Labour’s focus for the week will be on exposing the Lib Dems’ “record of broken promises and failure.”
She said:
“We all know that what the Lib Dems say during their conference this week is no guide to what they’ll do in the future. On the ground, online and on the airwaves Labour will have one message this week – you can’t trust Nick Clegg and the Lib Dems.”
