Dennis Skinner was called to ask a question at Prime Minister’s Questions this afternoon – and in true Beast of Bolsover style took the PM to task over the national debt. He said:
“Is the Prime Minister proud of the fact that in this parliament this Government has added £430 billion to the national debt? Which is more than all the Labour chancellors of the exchequer this century – he can’t blame Labour for that.”
To which Cameron replied:
“Oh yes I can.”
