Group linked to Tory leadership suggests “sacrifice” of the Charlie Hebdo murdered will “go to waste” if they don’t win seats

There’s a quite shocking story over at Guido this afternoon on the Tory campaign “Roadtrip 2015”, who have tried to make disgusting and partisan capital out of the attacks on Charlie Hebdo – here (via Guido, as the original post has now been removed from Facebook) is what was posted:

Road Trip 2015 seems to be at least a semi-official part of the Tory election campaign. In a profile by Harry Cole for the Spectator back in June, it’s described as an “offshoot” of the official Team 2015 Tory volunteers campaign run by Tory Chair Grant Shapps. The Road Trip 2015 campaign is run by Mark Clarke (a former Tory PPC in Tooting) who according to the Spectator piece was working alongside Shapps campaigning in Newark.

So it’s disturbing to say the least to see a group so closely linked to the Tory leadership suggesting that the “sacrifice” of the murdered will “go to waste” if they don’t “get (their) people elected”
