Weekly survey: Changing policy direction, fracking and the general election

have your say ll (long)

This week, a group of 15 Labour MPs published a joint statement urging the party to change course in three key policy ares. They called for 1) an alternative to austerity 2) rail renationalisation 3) a return to collective bargaining and employment rights in the workplace.

What do you think of the contents of the letter? Do you broadly agree with what this group of MPs are asking for? Or do you disagree with the policy proposals?

Labour have said they’ll vote against fracking this week, saying that they will oppose shale gas extraction until more robust regulation introduced. So, although the Labour leadership are broadly in support of fracking, they aren’t in it’s current form.

What do you think of Labour’s approach to shale gas extraction? Do you agree that there needs to be more regulation, do you think it’s fine as it is, or are you against it altogether? Let us know here.

With the general election only months away, ongoing fluctuations in the polls and an increasing amount of speculation over potential coalitions, we want to know what you think will happen in May.

Do you think that there’ll be a Tory majority or do you think Labour will swing it in their favour? Or, do you think neither party will manage to get a majority? Tell us what you think.

Our weekly survey closes at Noon on Thursday. You can vote here.
