MP Frank Field admitted to hospital after collapse

Birkenhead MP Frank Field has been admitted to hospital after collapsing yesterday. Reports suggest that the veteran backbencher and former minister was taken to hospital for a check up after becoming unwell during a meeting.

A Labour spokesperson said that the 73 year old MP  “is responding well to treatment.”
