There was yet another grim poll for the Scottish Labour Party on Monday morning, showing they trail the SNP by 16 points in Scotland. A uniform swing of this nature in May would see Labour fall from 41 seats to just 12. The polls seem largely static, and have for a while, yet a a similar swing occurring in every seat is unlikely.

On April 16th, Ed Miliband has agreed to take part in a leaders’ debate that will not feature either David Cameron or Nick Clegg. Instead, the Labour leader will appear with the leaders of UKIP, the SNP, Plaid Cyrmu and the Green Party.
Do you think it is a good idea for Ed Miliband to appear in this debate?
The poll in Scotland showed that fewer people believe Miliband is doing a good job than Cameron. However, with only a few weeks left until the election, the Tories have still not been able to find a poll lead – and they haven’t in four years.
