Labour have this morning released their latest poster, accusing the Conservative Party of having a secret plan to hit voters with a VAT rises and cuts to child benefit, tax credits and the NHS after the election. Revealed this morning at Ed Miliband’s speech in London, the poster also comes with an 18-page mock secret Tory memo, outlining what Labour believe the Conservatives would do in power.
The parody document is from George Osborne to David Cameron, and comes with red ink annotations from Tory strategist Lynton Crosby in the margins. Over several chapters, it covers fiscal policy, welfare, taxation and public spending.
