Harriet Harman stepping down as deputy leader

It’s reported that Harriet Harman will step down as Deputy Leader.

She will remain deputy leader throughout the leadership campaign but will stand down once the new leader has been elected.

The deputy leader contest will run concurrently with the leadership contest, following Miliband’s resignation earlier today.
