As expected Labour’s Shadow Cabinet reshuffle has taken place this morning. The big moves as Chris Leslie becoming the Shadow Chancellor, Hilary Benn moving from Shadow DCLG to take the Shadow Foreign Affairs brief, and Emma Reynolds stepping up from the Shadow Housing Brief to take on Shadow DCLG.
Sadiq Khan has resigned from the Shadow Cabinet – presumably to run for London Mayor – and is replaced by Lord Falconer. Meanwhile Jon Cruddas has stepped down to launch an independent review into why Labour lost.
