Labour yesterday confirmed their full list of candidates for next May’s London Assembly elections.
There are 14 constituencies across London that each elect one Assembly Member (AM) by the first past the post system (FPTP). The remaining nine seats come from a closed list with a proportional representation system – meaning that the higher up your party’s list you are, the better chance you have of being elected.
Labour currently stand just one AM member short of an overall majority in City Hall, with 12 AMs.
