It’s three days until voters go to the polls – here’s a quick look at how the elections are shaping up across the country.
Forecasts
There’s been good news from Labour’s polling in Scotland, where Labour is at 23 per cent in the constituency and 22 per cent the list vote. While the party are still lagging behind the SNP, recent polls are showing a significant gap between Labour and the Scottish Conservatives. When many are worried Labour could slip into third place in Holyrood, this can only be good news.

Message of the Day
“Collective action is the only solution to rising seas and rising temperatures. The European Union is central to both these challenges. Those campaigning for Britain to leave Europe cannot be trusted on the environment.” – Ed Miliband, with Liz Truss and Caroline Lucas, in a joint declaration regarding the impact of leaving the EU on climate change, showing rare moment of party co-operation.
Quote of the day
“So many people in Scotland just want to move on from that referendum of the past. We have substantial new tax and welfare powers coming to the Scottish Parliament. Wouldn’t it be great if we just used them to talk about the future and how we will improve our schools, our NHS, create opportunities for young people and build the Scotland that we all want to see” – Kezia Dugdale, leader of Scottish Labour, at the final leaders’ debate last night.
Meme of the day
We might be neck and neck in the actual referendum, but the British people definitely want out of Eurovision.

Opposition watch
Even Conservative politicians are angry about the sometimes racist undertones in Zac’s campaigns. Baroness Warsi has said his conduct in the Mayoral election was like watching “Britain’s Biggest Bigot”.
“Are we Conservatives fighting to destroy Zac or fighting to win this election? In the real world Londoners worry about housing, jobs and NHS. In the world of politics new reality TV show ‘Britain’s Biggest Bigot’ launched!”
