Iain Dale is reporting the news that the latest IPSOS Mori poll has Labour down at 18% for this week’s European elections. It’s the lowest opinion rating the party has registered in decades. In a separate question, only 18% were satisfied with the way the Government is running the country.
The Conservatives are down 1 point to 40% while the Lib Dems are also on 18% (-4).
This has now become a very unpredictable election for the Party, so it’s never been more important that the message of economic recovery and the achievements of Labour in Europe are heard on the doorstep.
