With the selection of the Labour candidate for the Norwich North by-election due to take place on Sunday, Ian Gibson has said tonight that he has not ruled out standing as an independent candidate.
Responsing to a question about his future in the constituency asked by Michael Crick, political editor of Newsnight, Gibson said:
“Things may still change, depending on the selection. There are always temptations.”
